We want everyone in the world to be able to experience our books! Therefore we have fixed our shipping rate as low as we possibly could. So that means, no matter where in the world you live and how many books you order, the freight will always be the same as shipping one book domestically within Sweden.
Your order is produced and shipped from Sweden. Our ambition is that all orders will ship the same day or the next business day after the order has been received.
Swedish delivery (1-3 days)
Delivery within Sweden, is done by First Class Mail, which means that the Swedish Post Office will deliver your order the next working day. Delivery can take up to 3 business days in some locations.
European delivery (2-9 days)
Delivery within the Europe, is done by First Class Mail International. Delivery takes between 2-9 days depending on the country of the recipient. For approximate shipping times to different countries, see the Post Office information page.
Rest of the world (3-9 days)
Delivery to the rest of the world, is done by First Class Mail International. Delivery takes between 3-9 days depending on the country of the recipient. For approximate shipping times to different countries, see the Post Office information page.
Your order is sent to the address specified during checkout. It is the buyer's responsibility that the information given is correct, and that the recipient’s name is clearly visible on the mailbox/address by the time of delivery. If you order to an address on which you are not a permanent resident, it is very important that you enter a correct c/o address.
If the package is returned to us due to delivery problems relating to not finding the recipient on the specified address, the buyer will have to pay for re-delivery of the items. We will then credit the customer's payment, but subtract the shipping cost.
Faults discovered on delivery
If you receive a defective or wrongly supplied product, contact The Story Factory directly for fast and reliable service. Complaints must be placed within a reasonable time, if the customer was prevented from examining the goods on delivery. We will confirm your complaint and will supply you with return instructions. Send the item in the condition it was received, together with a damage or error report, and a new and non-faulty product will be delivered as soon as possible.
Product warranty only covers initial defects, ie. manufacturing defects visible on delivery. Manufacturing defects must be acknowledged as such by The Story Factory, before a new product can be shipped. The product warranty is void if no faults or defects can be found on the product or if the product has been damaged from normal wear and tear, whether intentional or not.
Due to the nature of our personalized children’s books, please note that the products are not covered by the rights to exchange of product, money back-schemes or rights of cancellation.
All prices are by default presented at the website inclusive of Swedish VAT (6%). There is a drop down button on the page where you can change the page so it shows prices exclusive of VAT. What you'll pay for your goods is always shown at checkout, before submitting your order.
Private customers in Sweden and other EU countries are always charged Swedish VAT. Private customers outside the EU are exempt from Swedish VAT. A customer can see the price excluding the VAT when the product is placed in the cart before placing an order. The Story Factory AB takes no responsibility for any taxes or duties levied on goods in the recipient’s country.
We (The Story Factory) reserve the right to change our prices and conditions without notice. It is important that you take part of our current terms and conditions before placing an order. The only valid conditions and prices are the ones displayed at the time the order is placed. We reserve the right against statements made in obvious error and products being out of stock.
We currently accept VISA and MasterCard. There are no card fees levied on the customer from us (the seller) or our payment partners. Credit and debit card payments are handled by our payment gateway - DIBS Payment Services - to ensure fast and secure payments.
